The Columbia has 5 large, versatile event rooms, each with their own unique character and layout. Whether it’s a party, a conference, or a pop-up shop (or anything in between), let us know what you need and we’ll always do our best to make it happen.
We’ve got views overlooking Kensington Garden (and balcony spaces to really soak up the view), rich original Victorian architecture, high ceilings, and vintage chandeliers. The perfect backdrop for any event.
Our location in the heart of West London, just a short walk away from Lancaster Gate, Notting Hill, and Paddington, makes our venue easily accessible for all of your guests (and to top it off, we sit just outside of the congestion zone). And if anyone is coming from further afield, why not book a bedroom and end the night with a short walk upstairs?
One of our largest event rooms on the first floor, with a large private balcony and floor-to-ceiling sash windows overlooking Kensington Gardens. The space has a timeless and sophisticated feel with highly decorative ceilings and original classical architecture including an ornate marble fireplace and pale wood polished floors.
Two identical rooms situated on the first floor, which can be used independently or joined together as one space. With original period features, a large private balcony overlooking Kensington Gardens, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a beautiful ornate ceiling, the suites have a classical Parisian feel and their white walls make for a beautiful, and versatile, event space.
A dark and seductive space on the ground floor with its own private entrance. The Lancaster Suite is designed with hand painted murals, a marble fireplace and 6 huge windows. A moody and dramatic room that still feels intimate and inviting.
One of our largest and most versatile event spaces, located on the ground floor. An elegant period room with a mix of original wood flooring, Victorian tiles dating back to the 1800’s, vintage chandeliers, hand-painted murals and views into Kensington Gardens.
Capacity: 200-250 for standing parties, 150 for sit-down dining, 45 for classroom style, and 145 for theatre style.
